Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Becky’s Diner, a Portland institution. The pancakes and home fries are the ultimate comfort food and the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring.
If you are looking for a some casual dining options, Duckfat is an absolute must for fries lovers. Their crispy, duck-fat-fried fries with a variety of dipping sauces are irresistible. For an innovative take on small plates, Central Provisions offers dishes that are creative and full of flavor, making it one of my favorite stops.
You can’t visit Portland without diving into the local lobster scene. The High Roller Lobster Co. stole the show with its incredible lobster tacos—each bite was packed with tender, fresh lobster wrapped in cheese tortilla. Another seafood gem was Luke’s Lobster, where the classic lobster rolls delivered that perfect balance of buttery lobster and light seasoning.
For an upscale seafood experience, Scales is top-notch. The fresh seafood and sophisticated atmosphere made it one of the best meals of my trip.
When it comes to cocktails, Papi and Blyth & Burrows stood out for their expertly crafted drinks in a cozy atmosphere. And if you’re a whiskey lover, don’t miss Henry’s Public House, where I had the best Irish coffee I’ve ever tasted.
